Admissions Policy
Hametown Christian Academy does not discriminate against students of any race, color, or ethnic origin in regard to all educational programs, admission policies, scholarship and work loan programs, athletics, and other school administered programs. Hametown Christian Academy reserves the right to refuse admission to any student if it has been determined that their actions or lifestyle violate Biblical principles.
Specifically: transgenderism, homosexuality and trans-specieism in all forms are not accepted and are disqualifying for admission and participation.

Because our school is an extension of the home, parents are expected to be committed to the established Biblical principles and practices on which we have stood for many years. Hametown Christian Academy Inc. is an integral part of the church ministry. Parents or guardians are to assume their Scriptural responsibility to belong to and regularly attend a Bible-believing church with their children. Hametown Christian Academy Inc. reserves the right, after parental conference, to dismiss any child who fails to comply with the established regulations and discipline or whose parents do not assume their responsibility to the educational ministry described in the Hametown Christian Academy Inc. Student Handbook.

- Both parent(s) and student(s) are required to visit the school for a general tour and interview.
- An application is submitted, accompanied by application fees.
- Parent(s) and student(s) are required to read the HCA handbook thoroughly.
- Parents will be notified of the student(s) acceptance status.
- Upon acceptance, parents will then be given a enrollment package. Parents must complete and submit all necessary forms required by Hametown Christian Academy; including: medical history, student record release and/or previous report card, letter of recommendation from the student's pastor or youth pastor, and copies of student's social security card and birth certificate.
- Parents/Guardians should then call to schedule an enrollment confirmation meeting.
- Diagnostic testing, IOWA testing, and Total Cognitive Skills (TCS) testing will be scheduled and completed by the student. Registration and testing fees are paid at this point.
- Both parents and student must attend a meeting with the student's supervisor to discuss testing results and classroom placement.
